Virtus specialise in the design, build and management of Tier 3 data centres in the UK. When they decided to move from their offices in Green Park to Market Place in London’s west end, TIO were appointed to install structured cabling, electrical and audio visual services to their head office.
With tight deadlines TIO were able to carry out the technical fit-out of the office to a high standard. This included floor box, lighting and dedicated server room power installation. Structured cabling was installed to provide a platform to distribute IP telephony, network connectivity, wireless and streaming media services. AV cabling was installed to provide connectivity to multiple TV’s in the board room, meeting rooms, reception and open office area; allowing presentations and the infrastructure to have digital satellite/freeview services.
With tight deadlines TIO were still able to accommodate last minute changes seamlessly and deliver the project on time. With multiple contractors working on the project, from furniture installers, build contractors, BT and IT service providers, TIO’s experience in this environment meant that on-going liaison, co-ordination and communication aided the project delivery.
