Kent County Council (KCC) is one of the largest authorities in England. It covers a mix of rural and urban areas in the southeast of England, with no single large metropolitan area.
Kent County Council’s ITC department is responsible, in part, for the maintenance of the library IT equipment in use by the general public on a daily basis.
As part of this proactive maintenance programme, TIO was chosen after a full tender process, to carry out the clinical cleaning of approximately 1000 IT devices situated throughout the county. The equipment includes PC’s, laptops, printers, scanners and multifunctional devices.
The cleaning programme is completed by our dedicated technical cleaning staff on a quarterly basis throughout the year, and the contract has been awarded for 3 years.
As part of the selection process, all our staff members are Criminal Record Bureau Checked prior to their assignment on this project.
