In 2011 TIO in partnership with Everything IT, successfully tendered for the Crossrail 305 – Eastern Running Tunnels contract. The 4-5 year contract will see TIO deliver the project from inception to completion.
Tendered services include the installation and support of structured cabling (Cat5e and Cat6 systems), fibre optics, audio visual services, moves and changes support and the installation, commissioning and support of an Avaya multi-site IP based telephone system. With 5 sites on the east side of London requiring temporary and permanent infrastructure installed; from tunnel communication systems to building and excavation site support, through to head office administration environments.
With strict SLA’s and rigorous risk assessments TIO have kept up with the demands of this project, offering our experience to a project that throws up challenges on a regular basis.
With the infrastructure installed, tested and commissioned as each phase develops, Everything IT can confidently support the complex software environment that is inherent with a project of this size.
As this project continues TIO will strive to keep over-delivering on this landmark project.
